About the Research Coordinator Role  

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team on an as-needed project basis. The coordinator will play a crucial role in curating, organizing, and presenting primary and secondary research related to our clients’ respective industries, their competitors, consumer trends, etc. The ability to also analyze the data and provide summaries is strongly preferred. 

Responsibilities 

• Client / Project Research Coordination – strong communication skills verbal and in writing, attention to detail, and problem solving 
• Primary and secondary market research, leading market insights and analytics projects to facilitate and develop actionable recommendations based on market insights that address key business needs and objectives 
• Gather and organize data from various sources, including surveys, experiments, and databases 
• Using Canva and/or PowerPoint, create visually impactful slides and craft compelling executive-level summaries from primary and secondary findings 
• Help internal partners/stakeholders make informed strategic and operational decisions based on research 
• Use online database (Meltwater) to pull media lists or add to existing lists for press announcements (willingness and enthusiasm to be trained on software) 
• Contribute to ongoing research projects by assisting with tasks such as data entry, literature searches, and research setup (focus group coordination, survey development, etc.). 

Required Skills 

• Undergraduate or graduate student, or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Science; Information Management; Marketing; Data Analytics; etc.). 
• Strong written and verbal communications skills  
• Willingness to learn and adapt on the go  
• Ability to multi-task and work with strict deadlines on short notice  
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills; superior attention to detail  
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
